ATHKL is Kiribati’s leading telecommunication company, offering a full range of communications services to the people of Kiribati. Amalgamated Telecom Holdings (Kiribati) Limited, is a subsidiary of state-backed Fijian telecoms company, Amalgamated Telecom Holdings. ATHKL is Kiribati’s sole operator of mobile, fixed line and broadband services. ATHKL have a diverse range of customers, including consumers, small businesses, medium to large enterprises, Non-Government Organizations, and government, and we strive to put them at the centre of everything we do. Our services are offered through four branded retail stores, one repair centre and three Internet shops.
We understand our customers want technology and content solutions that are simple and easy to use therefore, ATHKL is build a new network structure with fully integrated internet protocol (IP) network and Kiribati’s largest which will be most reliable national mobile network.

ATHKL is a commercial, profit-making business entity which is determined to upgrade and deliver incomparable telecommunications services to the people of Kiribati. The key focus areas of improvement in telecommunications services in the nation encompass the following:
Provision of contemporary and affordable telecommunications facilities and services to the government, businesses and consumers
Bridging the persisting rural /urban (outer Islands) telecommunication gap in the market.
